From a Leader in England:
Rainbows are 5 to 7 years
Brownies 7 to 10 although they can actually stay until they are 10.5
Guides 10 to 15 years
Young Leaders 15 to 18 years

The following comes from the Guides Australia website:
Age Groups
There are no rigidly-defined age groups. Girls can join
guides in their first year of school.
All members under the age of 18 are Guides.
All members over the age of 18 are Adults who work in
leadership roles, support roles, Trefoil Guilds and/or adults
who are between 18 and 30 years old can be part of the Olave Program.
A units organization depends on the members of the unit.
Some units operate in special skills areas - such as
Equestrian, sports, or outdoor activities.
Others may be organized according to age - that is
the girls and leaders' choice. It is now possible
for a girl to join Guides in grade one and stay
with that unit until she leaves high school, if
the other members of the unit and the leaders are
also prepared to 'grow' into new areas of the program.
Units may choose their own names. Many have retained
the former names - gumnuts, and brownies. As many
have chosen their own names, Rainbow Guides, Dolphin Guides
and these names can change as the unit's members change.
But the ages are generally as follows
Gumnuts - 6 years of age
Brownies - 7-11 years of age
Guides - 10-15 years of age
I'm not sure how this equates to school grades
and we don't use the terms "Gumnuts and Brownies"
anymore but refer to them all as "Guides" with
the age group tacked on the end, eg our unit
name is 1st Barrier Guides (7-11)
(it used to be 1st Barrier Brownies).
Its part of our "new way"!!
